This is how you can get a naviBelt
Would you like to call a naviBelt your own? There are several ways to do this: you can buy it yourself or you can apply for it through your health insurance company if you are blind. You can also test it at home beforehand.
In the following we describe the different possibilities in detail:
Apply for a naviBelt from your health insurance company
As a blind person, you can apply for the naviBelt directly from the health insurance company. For this you need a prescription from a doctor. It does not have to be a prescription from an ophthalmologist, a prescription from your general practitioner is also possible. We have prepared an information letter for you and your doctor, which you can present to your doctor if he has not yet heard of the naviBelt. It summarizes the most important information about the naviBelt as an aid. It also includes a sample prescription so your doctor knows exactly what needs to be on the prescription.
You can then send us the prescription together with a signed data protection declaration by post. We need the data protection declaration so that we can submit the application to your health insurance company on your behalf. We will then apply for the naviBelt for you and take care of everything else.
If you have private insurance, contact us and we will provide you with a cost estimate for your health insurance company.
Rent a naviBelt
If you would like to try the feelSpace naviBelt first, we can make that possible. We offer you a belt presentation via mail. That means we will send you a test device for three days. As soon as you have received it, you will be instructed by telephone and we will answer any further questions you may have.
In order to receive a postal presentation, we need a signed renting agreement from you as a scan or photo by e-mail to info@feelSpace.de and your waist circumference in cm.
Buy a naviBelt Privately
If you would like to buy the naviBelt privately, then send us an email to info@feelspace.de and tell us your address for delivery and billing as well as your waist circumference in cm.
